Amber Kennedy
My understanding of what makes a home solid started in the garage, helping my dad build things from the time I was old enough to be useful. Since moving to Sarnia-Lambton in 2018, that early exposure to the trades has evolved into a deep respect for the craftsmanship and "soul" of the homes I sell. When the world shifted in 2020, I felt a calling to do something more for my family and my community. That led me to real estate, where I was mentored by the late Tim Dillon, a local builder who taught me to appreciate the hard work that goes into a quality build. Today, I’m proud to be working toward becoming a builder myself, bringing that "boots on the ground" knowledge to every client I serve at Initia Real Estate Brokerage.
I am a straight shooter because 15 years in customer service has taught me that people value honesty over a sales pitch. My goal isn't just to get a deal done; it’s to make sure you have all the facts. Because of my experience in electrical, carpentry, accounting, and home building, I look at properties through a different lens. I’m not just looking at the aesthetics. We pride ourselves on low margins and affordable options, where there’s an option for everyone. When the tools are down, I’m home in Sarnia with my partner, our three kids, and our pets. usually building Lego, planning an adventure, or manifesting our future hobby farm.

Kristian Brown
Kristian has been building since the third grade, scrounging for scrap wood and nails to put together his first projects, like a homemade iPad stand. He learned the importance of tool discipline and precision the hard way as a kid.. after a hammer left in the yard met a lawnmower and a very unfortunate trajectory toward the house- and that respect for the job site has stayed with him ever since. Today, as the "Frame" of our operation, Kristian is the bridge between a structural plan and a finished masterpiece. He is a perfectionist who obsesses over the finishing touches that separate a "job done" from a "job done right."
While most people only see the paint and the handles, Kristian is looking for the "gaps in the framing" and the structural shortcuts that signal a low-quality build. He believes that if your name is on the work, it should be flawless, and he treats every client's home with the same care he gives his own. When the nail gun is down, Kristian is all about the simple things, hanging out with the kids, out on the water with a fishing rod, or catching up with friends. Even his downtime usually involves building something new for our family, because for him, the craft never truly stops.
